Thanks, Sheri! Moths usually rest with their wings spread out to their sides. Butterflies frequently fold their wings above their backs when they are perched.

Awh...I have a shot of a Moth with his wings up...could you look and tell me if I misidentified the little critter. they are on the first page of my Flower Fantastic folder toward the bottom (Lunch and Lunch II).

I chased one yesterday but capture is not so good
he just would not settle long enough

I usually don't have any luck capturing them either. Perhaps because we had a cool morning and the butterfly was not quite warmed up to flutter around yet!
