This is adorable, and I love the effects you got going on.
It's probably too similar to not be considered a nod to Zelda, though I'm sure it has it's origins in Japanese Folklore or whatnot. A pretty cool new ghost pokemon family.

At first, Phantump origin is the spirit of child who die in the woods.
But now it seems like they turn it into a spirit of a rotten stump
and lived in the abandoned forest and can imitating the sound of children's voices.
They still sound similar anyway :/

Uh... Well, by origin I just mean where the design and stuff came from X_X
Now I'm confused.
Nonetheless, it could easily be a nod to Zelda, which is cool. It's a subtle nod though, it's not like the design itself is like based on anything, and I'm sure Zelda has it's origins.

Yup It's a reference to the Deku. A Deku is the spirit of a child who died in the Lost Woods. The Pokedex calls Phantump a spirit of child who is lost in the woods.
