Description
My friend ~KitsuneNoKao asked me for a quick way to figure out how to draw cats in a sitting position so I made this for her to useI figured I'd go ahead and post it for anyone who wants it
It's not too helpful or pretty looking, but I know some people just want simple details or references sometimes so here y'all go
Also this is my 100th Deviation, not something i'd want to have for a big 100 but meh i don't think i'll make a big deal about the amount of pictures I have until I maybe hit 500-1000 if I ever get there.
But yeah, enjoy everyone!

Neat ^^
Hmm, is it just a stylistic choice as to why you draw the legs-behind so large?
They way I draw cats or cat like animals have a skinnier hind quarters, maybe cause most of the cats in my life are on the skinny side *shrugs*
yay 100 pics! ^^

Thanks!
Aye well typically, at least in this, the cats here are less foofy than I make them
doing that with the legs balances out all the fur I add later on to the drawing and the fur pretty much takes up everywhere so the hind legs are hardly ever a problem
also because i unintentionally give really most 4 legged animals I draw canine-istic look, the large back legs is an example.
its not usually THIS large considering I rushed through these sketches but depending on the character im drawing i either make a cat super slim and the hind legs arent that big, or really poofy and the hind legs unintentionally end up wider
its a habit i just realized i had today so im not sure if its stylistic choice or just instinctual on my part @_@
