Even after all these years, it never occurred to me to make Gardenia/Natane fan-art with a theme alluding to the Old Chateau which is part of her in-game story to some extent.Related content

In a few years it'll have been 20 years since Misty left the anime and May was introduced. It's funny how that one event, as big as it was, is now ancient history in the franchise and happened when the series was essentially in its infancy. It's kind of funny how fast time moves, the fact that May was introduced almost two decades ago now makes me feel old as hell.

What's even crazier is that Pokemon was huge in 1998/2000 and no one had any idea it would stick around like it did. There are adults alive today who weren't born in time for PokeMania, as you can clearly tell by people on 4chan's /vp/ asking if PokeMania was really as big as it sounded.
You never know what fads will stick around and become standard. Unfortunately that also goes for J.J.FAD after they released their album "Not Just a Fad".
