Apparently her personality in the game is she dislikes using pokemon for battling and she doesn't actually own pokemon herself, she sort of sounds like N from BW.
On your other post, I kind of agree with you that now that there's been so many gens of pokemon (hard to believe we're going to be on Gen 7 already), it gets harder to remember which Gym leaders are from which and which pokemon and Elite 4 members are from which.
Back in the old days when we had less gens, or at least from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh...it was easy to keep track of everything because there was only 4 gens back then. But now with BW, XY and soon Sun/Moon...that's 3 more on top of it and they all kind of blend together. Also we were all a lot younger when the early gens were going on as we were kids and teenagers and had more time for Pokemon, so we could get into the franchise now.
Now most of the original fans are 25-30+ year old adults, so obviously now we can't get as into the franchise as a decade ago when we were still teens or in our early 20's. Time really does fly. Hard to believe at this time 10 years ago in 2006 is when Gen III and AG was ending and the DP era was about to start. Sometimes it only feels like yesterday when AG and DP were going on...hard to believe that was 10 years ago. Time really does fly.

Yeah, totally feel ya there. I wish they'd do more for their older fans occasionally but maybe we're not where the money is, though adults can have more disposeable income for stuff like Pokemon than say kids. When I was a kid, 100 dollars was a lot to me and 1000 was unthinkable. Now 100 dollars is nice but not as nice as 1000 dollars, especially considering I got a Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 for 330 bucks and considered it a decent score.
And now I realize that in hindsight, arguing with people over the internet over which two child characters in the Pokemon anime were more likely to be together seems silly. I honestly feel bad for people who still do that, it feels unhealthy.
