Description
Some months ago somebody told me my drawings would make me look like a rape victim because there are hands and fingers in almost every drawing I have drawn lately. Rest assured, I'm definitely not! It's just my imagination doing weird things with my head, nothing serious. But expect to see more disturbing drawings with lots of hands and fingers soon, I made many of them!
And by the way, I love jellyfish!

It's truly beautiful. It leaves the watcher with a lot of conflicting emotions while simply being a stunning piece of art.
The way the hands flow and overlap is wonderfully made. The light blue in the lower parts of the background makes the painting blend together really smoothly.
If there's one constructive critique that I can give. It's that the membrane on the head of the jellyfish could look more "jelly-ish" if there was a slight bending of light inside of the head. I feel that the art piece was carefully made, with a lot of thought. It's a great piece which makes me wish that these jellyfishes existed in reality and were flying through the skies.

The head really should look more "jelly-ish", I'm also not really happy about this part, so I totally get what you mean. I hope I get this done better if I try to draw something similar the next time...

Mama Mia! Haha, this is wonderful, and I can not stop "searching" it for something new. The colors are perfect, the hands are perfect, the textures are perfect. Maybe the jelly fish head/bulb should be a little bit bigger, maybe. Good grief I love this.
The way you drew all the hands so differently and diversely flexed makes it all the more interesting to gaze upon. The sky or ocean or background is textured so well it is like the hands want to feel of it and they are reaching for a touch.
It also was a good decision to have the hands in the bulb of the fish stretching upward as if pushing the jelly fish on. Very, very nicely done, good job Ceresta.

Yeah, I also think I should have made the bulb a bit bigger. Well, it was already too late when I realized it.

Jellyfish... They're gonna kill you, they're gonna kill me. But then...then they're gonna BURN and MELT and run down the driveway. The mailman will drive over them. I have hid in the garage from multi-armed Scyphomedusae before and I can damn well do it again...

I like jellyfish too, and this is an astonishing one! The hands below are looking so natural and pretty, that they don't ven scare me that much. But the ones inside the body... very scary, though not less pretty. But this enclosed space seems threatening. Anyways, I love it! <3

Ich freue mich sehr, dass dir meine surrealistischen Bilder so gut gefallen. Wahrscheinlich werde ich vorerst auch in die Richtung weiterarbeiten, für eine Ausstellung reicht es aber noch lange nicht.
Ich bin aber auch ganz großer Fan deiner surrealistischen Bilder!

Considering how many artists ( and students) tell me they have great difficulty with drawing hands, I'd say you were just showing off! No, but seriously- how does one equate a fascination with the anatomy and expressiveness of the hand with some sort of trauma? I should rather have said that a tendency to hide a figure's hands would be more revealing psychologically .

Showing off wasn't exactly my intention.
Actually I was practicing drawing very seriously over the last months (especially hands!). I'm really happy if it finally pays off, at least a little. Of course it still could be muuuuch better...
