Description
It also has wood panels, which is neat.
(please keep in mind this is set in the USA, not in the EU where driving this will make you be hated by all the people you're forcing off the side of the narrow, curvy streets. )

C'est marrant, elle me fait un peu penser à la Mercedes Classe G.

The SUV is based on the Ford Excursion, the largest SUV to enter U.S. mass production. My boss has one, it's big enough for a 2 to 3 centaurs to fit in comfortably.

They don't make that one anymore, you'd have to get an Expedition.

It's not a new car, Cubist bought an old one and converted it.

holy cow in the seventies in Europe that would have been listed as an actual truck! (Car licenses used to go up to 2,7 metric tons, it was changed to accomodate light delivery trucks.)

And probably costly registration renewal, at least here in the States if your vehicle is not listed as a car, you're paying a lot.

Heh....here in the USA, roads are almost always wide enough for two-way traffic, except for special roads called one-way roads, usually marked by "one-way" road signs, in which you're only allowed to drive in one direction on, thus making it so that you don't have people driving into each other. We do sometimes have narrow roads, but they're few and far between, I think? At least the places I've been usually have not had very many narrow roads that weren't one-way streets, with the exception of stuff like driveways.
Or do you mean that cars are normally narrower in the EU than in the USA?

there are some guys who have 'Murican-sized cars, and SUVs have become hugely popular for frankly no explainable reasons given the context of the roads here.
Usually you have to make room when a car comes from the front on small city roards, especially due to all the parked cars (even more so if the parked cars are SUVs). The countryside fares better but isn't broad enough for two SUVs, hence why they're getting lots of hate. Even just 10cm broader makes a serious difference here and makes navigating cities and parking very difficult.

So basically, the roads are narrower in Europe than they are in the United States, if I understood you right?
