il parait que la puissance engendré par ce mélange supasserais la fusion nuclèaire

sinon c'est vraiment super fun [link] mwahaha!

Since many have already brought up Mythbusters, I'm curious - how soon do you get to see the new episodes over in Europe? I'm looking forward to the new episode airing tomorrow night in which they are testing whether or not pepper spray + tazer = bad guy set on fire.

depends what channel and where you are in europe. Actually, exept the discovery channel, I'm not sure any channel has the show, and so far it would seem it's just in german. There is a french translation though, but it's canadian.
Given that it's the same channel, I guess they come about the same time, but I can only watch them on the internet right now as I don't have TV in the student room.

Fizzy, fuzzy and fun. It's a win-win-win!
I assume that a TF is yet to come.

I am fairly sure this idea was at least partially inspired by the Mythbusters. But that doesn't matter because they're awesome.

Lol, coke and menthol, a Classic
I think the Mythbusters proved that this was impossible (or maybe it was another myth?)

it was water and air bottles they tried

Yes, I confused. It would be interesting to see them try with cokes and menthol.

Actually, they did something like that once. (Starts at about 2 minutes. )
They tried a few times to make a rocket, but one bottle can't lift itself and the soda very far with only the mentos thrust.

twistedndistorted In reply to SomeGuyNamedDavid [2010-06-01 23:46:46 +0000 UTC]
Interesting, in Time Warp they actually did a coke rocket [link]
But apart from that, I think its would be nearly impossible (or very dangerous) to a jetpack of only menthol and coke. It would need a constant supply of coke and menthol without considering the weigth issues. Or some kind of defying-the-laws-of-physics apparatus.

SomeGuyNamedDavid In reply to twistedndistorted [2010-06-01 23:53:41 +0000 UTC]
Huh. They must have used some different technique, but anyway, because of the added weight, you'd need a lot of coke and mentos to get anywhere at all, and even then there's still the matter of landing and such. So yes, it would probably be either hard or unsafe to do. Then again, this is a comic. About mad science. So yeah.

Lets see what Celia does, Mad science can distort the laws of physics.
