Back in what used to be Ponyville, the Dark Lights continue their attack on the city and its citizens. Retaliating against them now are the Wonderbolts, since the police couldn't stand a chance. The only survivors are Prowl, Sonic Bullet, Clampdown, and Bellatrix, who are joining the Wonderbolts.

"Well, this is tragic", quipped Clamdown sarcastically, shooting at the Dark Lights.

"We're not giving up just yet", said Bellatrix. "These things are going down!"

"They're too strong", said Super Spark. "We gotta fall back!"

With that, the four police ponies and the Wonderbolts make a full retreat. Inkie orders the Dark Lights to cease fire.

"Let them go. Those cowards are growing tiresome. We have much work to be done. It's time for a new order. Ponyville is no more, and a new kingdom shall rise above the ashes!"

Inside Gizmo's treehouse, Spike and several other ponies hide out and find safety. The ponies there are Harvest Mistral, Fluttermay, Berry Merry, Wonderbolts Spitfire, Soarin Thunder, Skyfire, Ponyville police officers Prowl, Sonic Bullet, Clampdown, and Bellatrix, and three of the Freedom 6, Doctor Hooves, Bon Bon, and Amethyst Star. These thirteen ponies need to come up with a plan to stop the Dark Lights and their destruction on Ponyville.

"I can't believe this is happening!", exclaimed Spike. "I really wish Twilight were here. She'd know what to do".

"Isn't Twilight dead?", asked Fluttermay.

"Can I have everpony's attention please?", said Prowl, raising his voice over the commotion. "Everpony please, let me have your attention".

Everypony quiets down to listen to what Prowl has to say.

"Thank you", continued Prowl. "Now, we know that the Baker Inkie Pie is leading a legion of demon ponies to destroy everything in their wake. And all of this leads up to Dark Spark, whom has visited Ponyville two times. First time was forty years ago, second time was ten years ago. She's sent Inkie Pie and her demon hordes to destroy us, but we're not gonna let that happen. Ponyville has suffered too much already, and this time, we're fighting back".

All the ponies sit in silence, some feeling confident with what Prowl is saying. Others' not so much. One pony who's feeling demoralized is Super Spark, one of the Wonderbolts. She adds her opinion to the situation.

"Why do even bother?!", questioned Super Spark. "We've lost a countless number of Wonderbolts out there! We can't win!"

"Hey, nopony asked for your input, Spark!", snarled Sonic Bullet. "I lost good friends, too!"

"You ponies are insane, actually believing you can win", sneered Super Spark. "This is exactly what Dark Spark wants from us. To have a boast of confidence on thinking we can stop her, but in reality, it's impossible!"

"We stopped the Bakers, so that's something", said Amethyst Star, adding her input.

"The Bakers were just ordinary ponies who were all mentally disturbed", said Doctor Hooves. "They never had supernatural abilities or anything. Dark Spark and her Dark Lights, however, are something else. We are facing supernatural beings, everypony. I can agree with Super Spark saying that it is impossible, but now's not the time to put ourselves down. If we are to have any chance of stopping Marbelstone Pie and her squadron of Dark Lights, or surviving them, we need an ace in the hole. Thankfully, I have dispatched one".

"What's the ace then, Doc?", asked Spitfire.

"Just three hours ago upon the departure of Gizmo and her crew", continued the Doctor. "I've sent a distress call to LesAmalgamous D'Coolette, the Alicorn pirnce who has bestowed us the Elements of Harmony. He has sent his students all over Equestria to find Dark Spark. But now, seeing how Ponyville is in danger once more, those are on their way here as we speak".

"That's good", commends Prowl. "At this point, I'm willing to accept anything".

Elsewhere, Dark Lights Pounder and Ferrotraxis arrive on a hill and see Canterlot straight ahead. They are just moments away from reaching Princess Vinyl.

"There it is, Pounder", said Ferrotraxis. "Canterlot. Just waiting for us to conquer it!"

"Nopony is conquering anything!", shouted a voice close by.

Then, somepony swings a hoof at Pounder, sending him to the ground. Ferrotraxis looks around to find the pony who attacked the large stallion.

"Who goes there?! Show yourself!!"

"If you say so", said another voice as the pony from which it came from emerges from the horizon. It's Lime Green Wubs and her pack. They've come to "thank" Ferrotraxis for the Alicorn Amulet.

"You again?!", exclaimed Ferrotraxis. "What are you-"

Lime Green lunges a frontal kick at Ferrotraxis, sending her flying and hitting the ground with great force, to where it breaks her back, paralyzing her. The olive green Pegasus, now enriched with the power of the Alicorn Amulet walks over to the paralyzed unicorn.

Pounder gets to his hooves and runs over to help Ferrotraxis, but is then stopped by Wide Eyes, who kicks him in the two front legs, breaking them. The large dark blue stallion falls to the ground again, this time for good.

"Ghn, you... dare... attack us?", groaned Pounder.

"I wanted to do this to you for a looong time!", grinned Wide Eyes as she kicks Pounder's face in, killing him instantly.

"Pounder, noooo!", wailed Ferrotraxis, trying to get up, but to no avail.

"Alright, Ferro, why are you and your dead partner heading to Canterlot?", interrogated Lime Green.

"I will never tell a mortal like you!", refused Ferrotraxis. "I will gladly die with Pounder, for the glory of Dark Spark!!"

"Okay", said Lime Green simply.

The olive green Pegasus reaches down to Ferrotraxis's face and rips off her horns, where blood comes pouring out her sides of head immediately. The white and red striped unicorn screams in agony as she lies there paralyzed.

"I already know why you were heading to Canterlot", continued Lime Green. "No one lays a hoof on my cousin except me. She always gets the good stuff, she's a dj, I get the leftovers, and now she's a princess! I wanted to get back at Vinyl for stealing my thunder, and you just delivered me the means on stopping her and, who knows, maybe I'll take her place. So while you bleed to death, I'll leave you with this: Thanks, and tell Dark Spark I said "I'll see you soon"."

Ferrotraxis slowly begins to dose off, after losing lots of blood.

"Come on, girls, we gotta kingdom to seize!".

With that, the pack leaves the two Dark Lights for dead, heading to Canterlot with their new Alicorn-like powers, where Lime Green Wubs shall seek revenge against her cousin.
