It's funny how society seem to give out their hearts so easily nowadays. I dont think young people understand what a strong word 'love' is and yet they use it so frequently.They may have just picked up and found a new partner, and ten minutes later, they dish out their hearts on a plate and confess their feelings about love. I don't think many people can see that love isnt one of those words you use to explain how you feel about everything and everyone. Otherwise, when that person finally says it to you someday, after one day of dating, you cant say you feel the same. Feelings are hurt, and fights begin to kick in. In some circumstances the word is fine to use, but when it comes to people, we should learn to think more and act carefully...what will happen if we dont get the response we hoped for once we've finally let the feelings out of the cage? What will happen in we dont get the response we hoped for, without having any feelings to let out in the first place?

How often people give their hearts away for others to feed on, and after a week or so, they move along and deal it to someone else.

Yes, you bring up a good point.
My belief, well...God says to love everyone, so the last thing I want is for it to be...a meaningless statement, tossed around like a cliche. "I love you" is a BIG thing. Big. Especially when its directed towards people who want to kill you and people who you, against all common sense, wanna punch in the face.
Its the hardest thing you can do, but the alternative is much more corrosive.

Love is a strong word that people do overuse.
I, myself, say it a lot to my girlfriend.
But oh, everytime I say it, I mean it more and more.
(We've been together for 5 months, will be 6 on Monday. She means so much to me.)
But I dislike, strongly dislike how many people misuse the word. They say "I love you" or "I'm so in love with you." When a week or month later they break up and then mess with another person. It's just a cycle now a days.
