I love everything about this. My eldest is stepping into the world of larger concerns while my younger two don't have a care in the world. Profound.

As much as I love this piece, that eye on the right just... I dont know, seems out of place. Draws my eye towards it too much, you know? Other that that though great concept.

You are SO good! I hope that I'll grow up to be just about as good as you, but the future's the future and I don't know what it'll be!

This is a beautiful concept that appeals to everyone. I love how you converted the thought bubbliness into scattered, splattered thought. It conveys the harshness of adulthood.
The whimsical expression and lack of shading on the younger version in contrast to the much darker, more pleading wishes in the older's face was very well done.
I would love to see an even older comparison. What I'm gathering from this is the adult is still in school, with the equation. Once you're out of school, that's a little less on your mind. I'm seeing this as a comparison between a young girl and her high school or college self. I wonder what'll be on her mind when she gets out on her own and starts a family, or even better, when she sees her children growing up and comparing themselves. I can see you making an entire sketch series on this. XD

I first want to say thank you, then tell you that the equation is understood as a metaphor for the more complicated problems as an adult .. anyway here I dwelt on the problems that can have a teenager .. I have already scheduled a series of works to portray various thoughts and issues based on various age..you had the same idea
