Description
I think I should have titled it "The picture that ate my soul". Would have been appropriate. I actually started it before drawing the Bronze Disciple, but I had some serious trouble with it. I think I redid the background at least a dozen times. And let's not talk about Shai and Ria there.
I've drawn them a few times before but since I love blue and like their concept... why not draw them again?
So here they are: Shaiyus, a fallen paladin of Tyr and Ariala, my favourite Bhaalspawn sorceress meeting again for a few precious moments.

The title actually has three meanings - 'fallen' can mean 'falling in love, 'falling from grace' and 'falling in battle' and all three apply to at least one character here.

I was listening/watching a youtube video made with clips from the movie 'The Last Unicorn' and the song 'Fallen' by Delerium and Rani when I had the idea for this pic. It's here if you want to watch the video: [link]

The lyrics fit those two perfectly, I instantly had the image in my head and just needed to draw it. Which took me a long time, but I am really happy and proud of how it turned out.
Oh, before I forget - the plants and the reed at the pond were done with brushes from Obsidian Dawn. [link] I think I use at least one of their brushes in every picture.
