Description
For a personal project to categorize the Digimon in evolution charts. All evolutions are straight lines, where the Digimon evolve through normal means.This one is Nyokimon, who belongs to the hallowed family of Wind Guardians! Heed the call of the sky!
Based off of the Pendulum V-Pet, version 4: lcd.wtw-x.net/PenEvoChart4
Nyokimon -> Yokomon -> Biyomon / Floramon / Mushroomon
Biyomon -> Birdramon -> Garudamon -> Phoenixmon
Biyomon -> Kokatorimon -> Parrotmon -> Eaglemon
Floramon -> Kiwimon -> Deramon -> Gryphonmon
Floramon -> Ninjamon -> Blossomon -> ShogunMamemon
Mushroomon -> Woodmon -> Cherrymon -> Puppetmon
Mushroomon -> RedVegiemon -> Garbagemon -> GoldNumemon
UPDATE 2.1 : Kokatorimon evolves into Parrotmon and Eaglemon to free up spaces for Pixiemon to evolve from stuff elsewhere.
UPDATE 2: Floramon no longer evolves into Shellmon, Kunemon now does instead.
UPDATE: GoldNumemon is now Garbagemon's Mega stage (replacing Parasimon). Arrows have been colored to reflect the attributes of all stages from Rookie and beyond. Currently contemplating Ninjamon as a replacement for Shellmon, or Rosemon as a replacement for ShogunMamemon.

yeah that's because those guys are both Mega. that's correct, I don't do burst modes or super-ultimate level mons on my charts.Ā

Ugh, me too. Expect this to change at some point, I don't like it. He's basically just filler because there isn't really anything good between Floramon and Blossomon.
I'm thinking I'm gonna change it to Kunemon -> Shellmon -> Scorpiomon -> something, and maybe put Ninjamon as Floramon's other Champion and Dokugumon evolving from either Palmon or Dokunemon. Not sure at this point.

Ninjamon or Kogamon is good choice.
I know that isn't canon, but what do you think about Sunflowmon or Togemon as Floramon's champion form?

Yeah actually I've been doing little (completely pointless of course) exercises in which I'm expanding the number of Digivolutions for each rookie into the range of 4-6, treating it like a Digimon World-ish sort of thing. My top choices for Floramon were Kiwimon, Togemon, Ninjamon, and Sunflowmon. Sunflowmon in particular works pretty well if you look at the aspects of the reptilian between the two.Ā
That's the kind of thinking I'm trying to go with lately, you know? Digimon is characterized by its branching evolutions; some evolutions might be more likely to take place than others (like Biyomon -> Birdramon), but we've seen that other evolutions can certainly take place too (IE, Biyomon -> Aquilamon).Ā

I don't like how authors change some evo lines. I know that evo lines aren't strict, but again.
One thing that bothering me for long time: Patamon and Gatomon have their ultimate forms - MagnaAngemon and Angewomon, but in 02, they had been replaced with Shakkoumon and Silphymon. That makes MagnaAngemon and Angewomon pointless in 02.

Yeah, that never bothered me for exactly the reason I stated-- it demonstrates that Digimon have branching evolutions, and that the ones from the show aren't the ONLY 'right' evolution for that Digimon. (Again, it's not Pokemon, and that's one of the characteristics that sets them apart as such that I appreciate.)
I think in 02 they couldn't Digivolve for a while or something because of the black towers, but it's been a while since I've seen 02. It did have quite a few plot holes though, I think.Ā

I'm a Floramon fan. Nyokimon and Yokomon are good, but I'm more of a Yuramon to Tanemon then to Floramon. Then my preferred line is Floramon ---> Kiwikmon ---> Blossomon ---> Gryphonmon/Lotusmon
Pretty much what you have, but I would use Gryphonmon or Lotusmon for mega, but definitely Blossom for ultimate.

I'm mainly going off of the 'canonical' (or rather, the closest thing to it) representation of most of these Digimon's lines... in Floramon's case, it's evolved from Yokomon since its first appearance in the V-pets. Then its two lines would be Kiwimon -> Deramon -> Gryphonmon and Togemon -> Blossomon -> Gryphonmon/Rosemon (depending on the version or something... I think I linked the V-pet chart in my description).
So yeah, that's mainly why I did that here. I'm sorry if it displeases you as a Floramon fan. But hey, you can always make your own charts too...?

I'm using Sunflowmon exclusively as an evo of its rookie stage Lalamon in my charts, since I'm trying to use each Champion stage only once. Lalamon-Sunflowmon-Lilamon-Lotusmon line is in another of my charts if you'll notice.

I've ended up severing RedVegimon's ties to Gerbemon in mine in favor of the latter being a jogress of Gokimon and Shellmon; with RedVegimon evolving into Blossomon.

Having a terrible time finding a good Mega for Garbagemon. x3 Parasimon will most certainly be removed as he is being used elsewhere in too many places...
