Description
A lucky circumstance, camping in a river valley with thick fog. I used the moon and a distant security light to backlight, and filled with a vivitar manual flash (this was the first picture i had taken with it). I didn't document the aperture settings, but it was a 15 second exposure.-Michael

The lighting values are excellent in this image. The faded green tone adds nicely to the overall composition of the piece.
The bits of grass are shown very well in this also.

This is such a fantastic photograph... I can hardly believe that this is the unedited shot! It just oooozes energy, it's so... well, spooky! One thing though - 1.7 megs?! It was worth the wait, but seriously, you could compress that to below 400kb without loss of detail at all...

Thanks for the input! I tried uploading a more compressed version but it didnt take I guess, the big one is still here. I also need to ps out the brown tinge to it, thats just bad developing.

excellent framing and good lighting. it has a feeling of quiet isolation to it, but its a gathered isolation. it gives me thoughts of being with someone on a cool grey morning. i like it. peace.
