Holy moly how did you even do this

The same way I always do things! ...which really doesn't explain much, but it's hard to describe a process that compounds over time when most of my decisions behind making things are spontaneous.  There were certain new things I was trying out, and certain quirks to the shape that made it really obnoxious to frame that I spent forever trying to correct to a very marginal degree XD

It would be impossible to explain to a noob like me anyway But it's just so different from what I've seen so far in other fractals so it really stood out to me.
And oh boy don't I know what it's like when the last details always take the longest yet have a marginal benefit.

It this a single fractal flame?

Yes. All of my fractal work over the past few years has been a raw, unedited render minus a watermark or some some minor color enhancement.

I like how simple it is <3

The appearance is rather simple, though I really enjoy the subtle clouds in the background. Structurally, it's anything but simple, but the color spread and visual ease of processing it really makes it seem to fit together well. Thanks

yep, my guess was that behind every visually simple piece is some crazy weird stuff
but overall the clean look and all, unlike most of the fractal works that fill screen with details
