This is really impressive work. Sumptuous glows, fineness of details, awesome impression of grandeur.. It shows, you've got an outstanding mastery of these programs.Β

Thank you Β While I hardly consider this a piece that showcases my technical ability, it was fun as all can be to make

Perhaps this is routine job for you but I feel not everyone could create and handle such a massive composition, far from it. Let's say it showcases your artistic talent at least, this magnificent "nebula" like no others..

Haha, I cannot deny that I have absurdly subjective criteria when it comes to my own artwork. Β Compared to some of my artwork, this doesn't make use of as many technical features of the software, or exploit the technical knowledge I have of the medium as much as other artwork of mine has. Β In terms of the framing, composition, depth, motion, and energy, that's something I strive to do as best I can in anything I create -- some type of arbitrary standard I want to hold my artwork to, that drives me to polish all my artwork rather than spamming the world with oodles of cool but unrefined ideas.

You seem to have a very thoughtful and rational approach of your art. But none of the pieces of yours I have seen have the cold or dried look of an over-intellectualized work. On the contrary they appear highly emotional, sensitive and full of life -and spontaneous, despite the time and efforts you invest in them. It reminds me of the dichotomy we have in the programming field, where talented people tend to fall into one of these two categories: good coders or good designers. Outstanding are the productions of those rare birds who manage to ally both qualities, technique and aesthetics, and make the best of their right brain and their left brain..

This one looks to me like a multi-headed hydra, breathing streams of blue flame. The colder colours are different from your usual style, but I think they work very well.

I've been trying to work with different gradients than I usually do, as I want to explore more color space than just blazing fireballs. I love blue glowing colors, but fire generally works its way into my artwork more reliably XD Β
