Nitpicky biologist here!
You have to be wearing gloves, Ghost! Even if one of them is an XXL! Blood is a biohazard in the laboratory and needs to be treated as such! Also would be better if the sample was in a Falcon tube with a cap so it doesn't get contaminated by the open air.
Plus, you're gonna need a centrifuge if you want to keep that suspension homogeneous so the plasma doesn't separate out.
Sorry I'm being anal, it just comes with the training. Overall though, I'm loving this story!! Keep up the awesomeness
