I'm putting so much hope on this game ><I want it to have contests, dive, secret bases, the changing clothes features... omg I can't wait <3
If you don't understand my bad cursive, May says "(...) we're going to set up a secret base together, and then buy some new clothes at Lilycove, and then participate on that contest, and then dive with your Swampert and maybe end up in Sootopolis and then...".

And, now there's a Japanese trailer that's all about secret bases and super secret bases. Which makes me pumped because I loved making my own secret bases. They were fun.
They should have kept them in.
Although...the camera angle of the game, I don't think it's as good as X and Y. It feels like they pulled back compared to it. Which stinks because I really enjoyed the up close angles and street perspectives of X and Y.

Maybe there'll be some parts in the game where you get close angles of your character. Probably in Lilycove? It's the biggest city from Hoenn β₯
And, oh my, I saw that video! Did you pay attention to the music? It's the same in RSE β₯
Also, all features for your secret base are the same (besides the gym part, of course), those ballons, those little beautiful mat that you pass on it and it sparkles, the other one who do a music note and so on, omg the plushes β₯ I'm feeling so nostalgic.
But I really can't wait for the contests! I have a Charizard with more than 24 ribbons and I'd love to get him more β₯

I didn't care much for the secret bases in DP - Probably because I prefered the tree ones in RSE.
I just hope the contests are all over instead of one spot. It sort of made them feel more like part of the journey - like part of the story was earning your ribbons as much as your badges.
And, I bought so many damn plushies when I did my secret base...

They were my favorite places to do it.
Well, I don't mind it being in Lilycove like in Emerald or all over the places like in Ruby and Sapphire as long as it's fun as it was :3Β

Crystal was my second Pokemon game, so I became obsessed with the plushies. It was like the plushies that would never end...until they did.
But, with three other generations to work with as well a 3D environment we better see more. I want an Oshawatt and Fenenkin plushy damn it!
