This is the picture I submitted for the "Summer Memories!" contest of the wolvesrock666 group.
I have to admit that it's not my first choice image but I couldn't get a better shot at them howling after the pubs grew older. After they started howling with the big ones, they went further back in their territory and it was impossible for me to take pictures of them. ;(
Why is it a summer memory for me? This year was all about the wolf-pubs in Schönbrunn for me. I've been visiting every week for quite some time. Everytime i tried to get there as soon as possible to hear them howl (which they only do in the morning and in the evening - and in the evening the lighting is even worse there). This is why the howling wolf will remind me of all the hours i've spent in the zoo watching the pubs grow and listening to their howls.
