I try to do the best I can using a program called "jTegaki," which allows you to draw Japanese characters and have the program spit out corresponding text. I then throw the aforementioned text into Google Translate and try to work around what awkwardly comes out. Since it's a cumbersome process, I've done it for dialogue that seems the most important and have come into vague understandings of the story.
Some names:
Protagonist with the coat:
Yagyu Jubei Mitsuyoshi
Chick with the shorter hair and short skirt that gets lots of ass shots:
Munefuyuu (Didn't translate surname)
Mitsuyoshi's assistant:
Hayabusa

'pparently the primary chars are named after real Samurai from Japanese history - especially Mitsuyoshi - with her eyepatch of legend.

...and the antagonist fighter woman with the pole that gets action in volume three is obviously based off of Son Goku. Pole, eats bananas, has transformed into a freaking gorilla.

Let me correct myself. When I said "Mitsuyoshi's assistant," I mixed up the black-haired melee fighter with the light-haired one. The light-haired one is Hayabusa.
