Flowers from a play? Love the depth you can see around the edges with the baby's breath and the leaves, papers. Lovely!

You're welcome - it's wonderful that you have passion for your craft; I feel it's an essential ingredient for success. And I believe that with time, effort and enthusiasm you'll make a living at it - at least that's what I hope to do someday as well!

Please and thank you! I'm disabled due to Fibromyalgia and my art is my life, my writing, photography, knitting. If i couldn't create, I'd wither and die...You have a stunning gallery. A lot of popping color and definite potential. May we both be lucky enough to make our way in the art world. My next project is going to be a physical mandala. I crochet and knit and i'm going to make a large one, hula hoop size.......

You're so welcome - I'm so sorry to hear about your condition...what you create and what I see in your gallery speaks volumes to your abilities - not just as an artist, but for overcoming those obstacles and rising to the occasion.
And thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, wouldn't it be great if we could both make a living out of what we love doing for fun? It's my hope and dream...I hope it comes true for you.
By the way, best of luck with the new project - crocheting a mandala sounds challenging but rewarding as well!

I'll post a picture of the mandala if i attempt it...i think i will...have to get the hula hoop before they're out of season, lol! Ah I suppose my condition has made it possible to focus on my art. I can look at it that way....life should be about enjoying what we do. What do you do for work when you're not creating? And thank you for such gracious words! I hope to show people who i am through my creations.

That's very good to hear - hula hoops! Very interesting...
Yes, I have my own struggles of a kind to deal with as well - it seems we're not alone in that regard, at least.
Career? I work for an Infrastructure Management company in the Northeast. Unfortunately the business isn't what it used to be - what was once practical to repair has now turned to a "throwaway" culture...something breaks, you just buy a new one. I may be looking around to start fresh elsewhere - possibly in a different industry...I would like to get into web design or something related to that.
And you're so welcome - you've certainly earned that praise and then some. You are succeeding at impressing me and others - keep going, you're doing great!

Ah i'm in the northeast myself. Love it up here, was born and raised in a little town called Hudson Falls . I used to work making angiographic heart catheters before Fibro sidelined me. And it's true, you buy a computer and it's already obsolete. So many times i've heard " throw that away, it's cheaper to buy a new (computer, laptop, dvd player, toaster, etc.) I always say reinvent yourself. A lot of people are doing just that. Look at how big Etsy has grown just with people designing their own crafts and selling them. Never give up, never surrender!

Kindred spirits are we! Yes, I was born and raised in a town called Medford - although I lived in many places around that general area since then. Hudson Falls sounds like a nice place...
Yes, we should "endeavor to persevere" no matter what - this is our time, and we deserve to enjoy it as much as we can!

Indeed! I've heard of Medford. I'm near Lake George, NY never moved very far from my hometown... I like it that way, got a lot of connections. My hubby is from the area too. It's not bad here....except for taxes and all. I've decided I am going to grab life by the horns. If this is our only shot, might as well make it a good ride.

It must be so beautiful up that way...I've heard about Lake George...they have a huge car show out that way every year, among other things, as I understand...
Yes, taxes are inevitable, aren't they? They're no better out my way, either...
I do so encourage you to do so - that's what I intend on doing myself. We have only one life to live, right?

It's nice except maybe for the winters....they suck...love the lake...and yeah they have the ADK nationals in the summer. Never been. Really should though...cars are my second favorite thing to photograph, especially the vintage ones. Might as well take the bull by the horns I say

Oh gosh brought to mind a car i was offered a ride in one day last year. It was a car event in downtown Glens
Falls. The car was a De Soto. Beautiful. The hood ornament still lit up and everything. Just lovely. I did a detail series last year of classic cars, the elements like headlights, fender, chrome...lots of fun...and the owners are so proud of them.

That's so cool! You know, my neighbor has a '38 Chevy that's in great shape - that car is his labor of love...he's fixed it up so well, and put a couple of extra neat additions in it also. It even has a fully restored rumble seat in the back! He does the car shows here in my hometown - along with a guy who's got a Batmobile (I believe it's a custom '66 Bonneville). It's a great hobby to be good at and certainly be proud, too!

Thank you - yes, an "action-packed" mandala; more of a "wake up it's morning" edition as opposed to "time for bed - good night".
