I really, really wanted to do something traditional... I promised myself I'd take time with the lineart but all I wanted to do was colour so it ended up rushed. Looking at it from a distance I wish I'd had more patience, since there's lots of stuff that's wrong. Usagi's derp face, for one... her shoulders... Luna. Ugh. I did spend a bit of time considering the composition, though. Whether or not that made a difference is debatable.
But colouring it was fun, which was the point. I'd intended for it to be mixed media (watercolours and maybe pencils too) but it ended up being just Copics, again. I may end up putting in a flat-colour background using watercolours since all that white is making me nervous.

Heeeeeere comes the stock-standard excuse... it looks better in person! I may take a photo of it instead of a scan later, but I'm not very good with taking photos of pictures either.
I tried using my white gel pen for the first time to do the stripes on the collar/sleeves... erm, it's messy, to say the least. If I can't get it to work better I think paintbrushes are the safest option.

Tools: Copic markers + inking pens, white ink
Time taken: 2~3 hours (I should have been sleeping)
