An ATC for a trade with !Fingers crossed she likes it
As she wished for a random animal I did some research and found this cutie.
Its a Bali starling, the national bird of Bali (Indonesia) and critical endangered.
He feeds on berries and seeds

I think it is gorgeous! You might have put a tiny bit more detail in the beak but it is really good.

Hm yes the beak was a little difficult and there could be more detail. I will try to give it more attention the next time I draw a bird!

You wanted my honest opinion? Well.. Super-cute! And definitely counts as unusual species, especially for Central European like me! I love how you described the foliage as well- greatly helped grounding the whole card, I think- it looks like THE plant and THE bird, not just any bird with whatever-plant. And the feet are the best. I always struggle with bird feet! And I also kind of wonder at why the dA didn't send me a "mention" when I can see you've mentioned my account. O_o Anyway, of course I like it and want it, thank you!
