A quick Internet search showed me not so many similar jokes about Inu Yasha's special night, so I thought there's still plenty of room for my version. Yes, sometimes even I surrender to doing somethings silly.

One night in every month Inu Yasha becomes human - that means his body changes, he becomes weaker and, if that's somehow possible, even moodier and bitchier. Maybe I'm in a minority, but I notice parrallels to a certain female condition...!

So far I've read into Takahashi's manga Ranma 1/2 and, well, Inu Yasha. I hope one day I might get my hands on Maison Ikkoku, it sounds personally the most promising to me.
To be honest, I gave up on the superhit Ranma after ca. one third of the manga. Sorry fans, but the series became quickly far too monotone for me (to put it with very few words). Pure matter of taste, I guess! Others critisize "Dragon Ball" for the same, while I thought the series was absorbing til the end.

Now Inu Yasha ... here I read so far ca. one third as well, and I clearly prefer it too Ranma. Still, I feel the monotony danger here as well - for example, I forget more or less many details of the fights as soon as the battles are over - a certain level or memorableness seems too be missing for me. Well, but as mentioned, summa summarum IY convinces me so far still more than its antecessor.
