Disney´s "The Lion King" musical is (c) Disney Theatrical. Please feel free to correct me if something is wrong or missing!

*cough* I don´t know if I´m the only one, but when I saw the poster for the Lion King musical with this stylized lion ... for a rather long time I thought that lion is supposed to be looking angularly down (and was puzzled about that). Embarrassing, but it took a while until I realized that the yellow part in his eyes is not a sclera (that´s what we see in white on human eyes) but simply a light reflection. This way the lion is looking towards us, not down.

....But I still think it seems more like he is looking to the floor *rant*, Although I really like the drawing per se.

Another thing - I guess the lion is meant to be adult Simba? Seeing it the first time the lion was in my eyes spontaneously Mufasa, and it still feels like this for me.

That fanart was rather quickly done, the important thing for me is mainly the message.
