Next Part Is Out! = Imaginary Parties - Part 2

Part 1 of a little series TopazOwl and I are doing to properly introduce Pish and Kayo wooo!
As for the title, well we didn't come up with a name for the series yet (I straight up forgot) and I was listening to Imaginary Parties by Superfruit while drawing and it really fits what's happening? Sooo for now at least, bam!

Anyway yep, I'm excited for this because Pish won't do well when his buddies tease him about a crush and that's exactly what's gonna happen >;D Boy is actually going to be a flustered mess instead of the confident drama queen. Just not yet, he'll be playing it cool until some development and realisation happens.

EDIT: His wings are tucked in against his back which is why you can't see them with the chair there. I did however forget his flipping burn scars, daaaaang it why. I'll hopefully remember to add them in the morning, I am very tired rn

A purple Wyngro stood with her paw holding her chin in thought atop a hill overlooking the odd building, taking in the flashing colours and funky music coming from within. Both of which easily reached her even at that distance.

Kayo didn't know why she'd paused as if considering turning back, she had already made up her mind and was determined to follow through. Maybe she was just being wary about wandering down a hill in the dark without her goggles to see. After all, she told herself, I'm clumsy enough as it is. At least they wouldn't make a difference once one stepped into the bright flashing lights of the party anyway...

Kayo made her way down and over the bridge, carefully.

Excitement and anxiety were a bubbling brew inside her by the time she stepped into the open doors of the Shindig Shack. Taking in the now somewhat familiar sight of dancing, singing and laughing Wyngro all encompassed in colourful light, helped ease the nerves a little at least.

See Kayo wasn't used to doing something like this without her brothers, but after a long time trying to figure herself out she decided a party was the best way to start her own adventure.

After all everyone had crazy party stories, you never knew what could happen.

The Shindig Shack in particular had been around for a fair while now and had built up quite the reputation for being some wild fun, plus she had been before and knew the layout.

Kayo walked around the edge of the main room to avoid disrupting the dancers, looking around to see if she recognised anyone there. Doing her best to keep her nerves down, her paws coming up to clasp together at her chest anyway.

A little ways behind her, at the bar, sat a green Wyngro on his own after having just finishing a catch up with some friends.

Pish had of course enjoyed catching up with his pals, Orion in particular had been fun to tease about a particular new development in his love life. Tabbris had too in fact, although Pish didn't tease her for it as she had already been a blushing mess and he was really happy for the both of them.

Boy everyone was getting hit with cupid's arrow lately it seemed, Pish snorted a laugh and shook his head before taking another sip of the blue dyed water before staring at it with a raised eyebrow. It didn't taste different or anything, Poppy had just said it was more fun than plain clear water and it was one of their sap free nights. Pish knew it was just Poppy's weird new obsession with the colour blue popping up again. Weirdo.

Well thinking back on the last big chunk of his life, things were changing and his friends seemed to be finding new things to do outside of parties... hmm

Maybe I should start up a theatre, or go discover some new land, Pish smirked at the thoughts then brought the glass up to his mouth, but it froze before it hit his lips. That sounds like a lot of work for one gro though. He put the glass back down and put an arm over the back of the tall chair to twist his body and face more of the party.

Wyngro were doing their thing in the centre of the room under the light of the disco ball, but it was the sudden mass of purple walking by momentarily blocking his vision of the crowd that caught his attention.

He recognised that gro! Pish leant back in his chair so it tilted a bit on the back feet and reached out, calling, "Hey wait!"

The purple Wyngro turned around at the call and stared at him with grey blinking eyes. Yep, definitely recognised her.

"I've seen your around here before!" He grinned, "What's your name?"

She turned her whole body around to give her full attention with a smile, "Kayo." The smile grew wider, "And you're the one that swung on the disco ball. Pish, right?"

Guilty. But Pish could only grin wider too, pleased that that's what she chose to remember him by, "Right!"

Gaaaah that turned out way longer than I expected, I was just going to do a short 100 word ish description story but it just rolled right out fff. Please let me know if I wrote this right or if anything needs changing OTL
As for the other two gros mentioned and their story stuff, if that actually hasn't happened yet officially then uh just assume this happens after? I'm a mess but I like linking in small things.

Look at this mush, so much more mush lately and more is coming just you wait.
