The F-6t Big Foot , which made its debut as a Boss in Sonic Adventure 2 and as a late-game enemy unit in Shadow the Hedgehog (a.k.a, "That attempt at a Sonic spin-off shooter which ChibiAI-kun takes flak for actually liking") happens to be the inspiration for the mecha I'm thinking of as being present in the Corpse Trigger universe, or at least one part of it. The other part of inspiration comes from the design of the Marauder from Battletech, so you could picture Corpse Trigger-verse's bipedal tanks as mechs whose bodies look like they're derived from aircraft, have reverse-joint legs, and Marauder-style ball-and-joint arms. o.o

As such, I'm very much looking for a model of the F-6t Big Foot and/or the B-3x Hot Shot . If anyone either has these models or knows of exactly where I can find them, please let me know so I can convert it for MMD usage. o.o

...

...I'll give you free Pizza if you do and you'll be credited in any appearances of the F-6t Big Foot and/or B-3x Hot Shot (along with mecha I plan to derive from either or). >u<

I'd love to see this in MMD too, as well Hot Shot and R-1/A Flying Dog. Those would be boss I agree.

Sometimes I wish I had the resources to rip these things myself. There are quite a few models I want to rip from that one Shadow the Hedgehog spin-off that me and approximately three other people like (Seriously--had Sega given Shadow the Hedgehog a full-blown online multiplayer mode, the game would've done far better than it did) as I've made no ground in getting the models I need from that game. o.o

I agree, this would be awesome to see in MMD.

There should also be the modified variants from Shadow The Hedgehog too.

That and the motorcycle-styled GUN Jump Walker and Attack Vehicle. OuO

Now that I think about it, we need more of GUN's stuff ported over to MMD in general. =u=

I'd say more so the Catapult.
If it had arms I'd say Madcat/Timberwolf *Shrugs*

Incidentally, the Catapult was exactly what I thought of when I saw the Big Foot for the very first time. The final Mech design I'm thinking of is the Big Foot as a base with the B-3x Hot Shot's Long-Range Beam Cannon placed above and behind the cockpit in a manner that mimics the Marauder (Unseen). o.o

I might have to use Timberwolf arms to start off with. Even if I do end up basing the mech designs on something other than the Big Foot/Hot Shot, it'd be a thing to have either mech, if not both in MMD--just to kick things off. o.o

Safe to say the Bipedal Tanks in the MMD canon I'm creating will essentially be 'Mini-Marauders' of sorts. Due to tech levels more or less still being '21st Century with the ability to build effective bipedal vehicles', there won't be any energy weapons. o.o

(Besides, I'm more of an Autocannon nut anyway. Sad no pairing it with PPCs in this timeline like I do in MWO. =u= )

*Chuckles* Suppose it depends on your prefered methods. Then again I normally go energy weapons and heat sinks as I was always partial to the Clan Era and hit & run tactics. When it comes to ballistics I prefered a gauss rifle/cannon. I really do need to reinstall/download MWO again along with my Tactics. XD

I used to be able to rock Gauss Rifles until that one patch where the charge mechanic was introduced. I'd be able to adapt more if it came with a more effective visual confirmation the Gauss is fully charged. As it stands, I have to keep an eye out on a certain bit of the HUD just to see that while doing all the other stuff. o.o

Originally I was an Ultra AC/5 nut, but recently the introduction of Clan Tech had me transition to PPCs as my main weapon with ACs of various kinds as backup. Virtually all of my Warhawk configs run off of such a setup--even the Prime which had its LA Pod swapped out for one just like that on the Warhawk-B just so I could swap out one ER-PPC for an Ultra AC/5. With that I would do either two or three PPCs per salvo and then switch to the Ultra while I cool off. o.o

Now if only the computer repair shop would get back to me on my laptop so I can play MWO again. o.o

I think I mostly settled on the A/Cs for pesky aircraft and the occasional tank that got to close, lol.

I'd imagine a single LB-10X being quite a brutal thing for aircraft to get caught in, let alone two of 'em. =u=

*Checks out the fluff*

Gotta love Solaris VII, because there's no place better than Game World for testing out newly released Mechs, along with other assorted materiel. >u<

Dat Mad Maud. Can definitely see it going toe-to-toe against an 'Omnimech-S' configured Clan Omni in the urban jungle--where SRMs, LBXes, Pulse Lasers, and Jump Jets are king. >u<

*Looks @ some of the other designs.* OuO

Yes but as they are some of my earlier designs they all have some issues, lol.
Though the Mad Maud was mostly intended for arena fights not frontline combat.

I can definitely see arena fighters being at home in urban combat as well. As for them Velociraptors, I'd be glad to have one of those on my side. (Mainly since I suck at piloting anything that's not a Heavy or an Assault) OuO

True. As for mech piloting suppose it depends on the light/medium, lol.
Though I'd hate to see what would happen if someone decided to pick a fight with all those pilots on solaris 7. XD

And we all know Solaris MechJocks are a thing. Wreck everyone else in an exhibition match, think he's already the champion, and probably get caught in a barfight. >u<;

(Bonus points if said MechJock gets caught in a barfight with a certain 'Black Widow'. =u= )

Ravenshard82 In reply to ChibiAI-kun [2014-09-04 02:38:34 +0000 UTC]

Indeed but even Solaris still had those that are compitent and skilled (with more then enough desprate ones) Mechjocks about.
Granted they'd probbly have to manage to put grudges aside and stop killing each other first. XD

Especially a certain 'Victor Vandergriff' following his defeat to Kai Allard-Liao back in 3056. He felt ditched by his fans and his stable, and the whole thing with the FedCom Civil War having hit boiling point by the time Michael Searcy showed up didn't help either. o.o;

I did used to have an AU FedCom War character. She was a Steiner, though she didn't become aware of it til after her adopted mother died and command passed down to her. XD

Funnily enough, most, if not all of my characters had either Davion or Steiner alignment (despite technically being mercs). Lately, my characters try to balance some sort of tightrope due to the importance they see on maintaining the union between said Great Houses and emotional attachments to their lifestyles in both nations. o.o

Plus, Christmas in Tharkad City must be a thing. I can't think of any other major city in the Inner Sphere that would evoke the feeling of Christmas in 21st Century NYC. =u=

As for Christmas in Tharkad City she wouldn't know she was useually doing merc stuff on some back water world. XD
