They hinted at Breakdown's body being with MECH and possibly his body will be reused by them on a later date. He, and MECH, have yet to appear after "Nemesis Prime".
As for Knock Out's reaction? Well...

My take on it? Any sorrow he might have shown has been done off screen (likely due to the fact that he's a 'Con and heaven forbid they show anything that would be considered weak or have the viewers have pity or any inkling of liking). However, KO being more extravagant than usual could be seen as a show to trick others into thinking he's unaffected or fine, and Megs not only calls him out on that, but also calls him "vulnerable" kind of indicates that his show isn't working.
Long story short: Not really the reaction the fans would be happy with, but that's why fans have fanfiction and fanart to fall back on. I wasn't expecting anything weepy, but I think they'll slowly building up to KO realizing just how expendable (and lonely) he is without his assistant/partner/bodyguard.

Don't care what you say, Breakdown so did not deserve such a cruel death. A stab to the chest, or an explosive finale would've sufficed, but not being shred to to ribbons like that.
At times a force to be reckoned with, but he was still an awsome Stunticon.

Maybe I'm looking too deep into it, but he seemed extremely 'over the top', more so than normal when addressing he was going to reclaim the relics in his honor, like he was purposefully putting on a show to hide how it might be affecting him (and why Megatron was quick to not only call him out on his preening, but also mention how he was 'vulnerable').
Being a 'con doesn't give KO the chance to really 'mourn' the loss of his partner, though the recent failure and train to the face (as seen in 'Tunnel Vision') might be a good enough wake up call to him that he misses him a lot more than he'd want to acknowledge.
We'll see... the writers can't just tapdance around the issue forever... not without the fans letting them know that they're unhappy.
