Left:2010 Right:2006 i felt like doing a re-make of some old picture.i started doing digital stuff in 2005ish but i don't know where any of my files from then are cause the laptop with the files kinda died...i did find something from 2005 but it was some neopets fanart and i wasn't quite in the mood to do some fanart...kinda works out though cause the original picture of this was made a week from now in 2006
...i wish i'd done that tree better
but i wanted it to line up with my old picture so...but i'm quite happy with the shading and stuff...the trees look okay indiviually...just not together..just as a note, the picture from 2006 was done in one of my minor styles which i hardly ever used. it's purely coincidence that my current style looks a bit like it.

It's still amazing and impressive to see how much you've improved and how far you've come as an artist. Great artistic way of showing this too since (although the concept is simple and obvious) I haven't seen it done before. And unlike other artists at that level you were at in 2006, you did try to apply shading as well

just realized i started drawing digitally in december of 2008 >__>
my peoplehad HUGE square heads...and i did that thing where i hd the arms behind their backs in EVERY SINGLE PICTURE...the looked like amputees e__e
i actually drew pokemon gijinka designs a lot when i was little lol
they weren't all that creative, but i thought i was a genius for coming up with human pokemon back then xD

Cute character, I like her expression. Nice shading job on the leaves. The lighting on the sword looks really good.
