Awesomely weird sir!
what really caught my attention was the face. Have you played Metroid Fusion? because it looks like the melty face of that gravity boss.

THE FUCKING NIGHTMARE!!! YES!
I absolutely loved that creature. I still to this day get all giddy when I think of the roar of the gravity manipulator.
yeah this monster was inspired much by the nightmare actully but my newer redesigns of these thing are far more original now.

love all the secondary characters and overall design..in some of the smaller areas the details get lost.clarifying these small eares and treating them with the same boldness as your primary characters will help you make your future works stronge..thanks for faves and comments on my stuff by the way...you cot some good talent..i would love to see lots more!!!what did you draw this with...??what media is what im asking..?

Wow thanks for taking the time to make such an awesome comment! This thing is just #2 pencil on printer paper; which might also be why some of the character detail is lost. I'm thinking next time I one of these I'm gonna take it much more seriously, bigger paper, better pencils, hell might even ink it. I really want to do a lot more with these characters in the future.
thanks again for such a thoughtful comment!

there is a graphite technique where u grind grafite sticks to dust and use bestine and a paintbrush to use as paint spreaders but the cool part is its graphite...i wish i had my old work to show you but i work on computer now..so sorry but this is cheap and fun..

What a decidedly grotesque abomination. Do you play the game Magic: The Gathering, by chance? The little creatures remind me of a species from the game called Phyrexians.

Chieftx In reply to Delta-Hexagon [2010-01-31 07:09:48 +0000 UTC]
OMG yes! The Phyrexians are perhaps the most freakish monsters to ever ever be spawned by a cardgame! I recieved a lot of inspiration from them. I hear the next block will feature them again actually.

Delta-Hexagon In reply to Chieftx [2010-01-31 07:14:11 +0000 UTC]
Le gasp. Are you for serious? I freaking love Phyrexians, enough to have spent loving time and money making a beautiful Phyrexian deck. If they're showing up again in the next block then I'm going on a card buying spree!
Also, the fact that someone else likes Phyrexians as much as I do amazes me.

Yeah wanna know what makes it even better, it takes place on Mirrodin, meaning that they likly are invading MIrrodin to claim it as their new domain!

Oh my god, Mirrodin is one of my favourite planes, too. I freaking love artifacts. When you say next block do you mean WorldWake or the next set entirely?

Chieftx In reply to Delta-Hexagon [2010-01-31 07:41:17 +0000 UTC]
It's after Magic2011 which is after the Rise of the Eldrazi which is after worldwake. They found out when they were looking at the trademarks that wizards makes when they make new brand names, they found, "Scars of Mirrodin" "Mirrodin Pure" and "New Phyrexia"
Those are most likely to be set names, but this is all that is known about it so far. either way I cannot wait!

I'm glad you like it
The face of this colossal metal serpent you see here is very much inspired by a monster from Metroid fusion called the Nightmare. I hope to develop this setting and these characters in the future.

Caffine is such a necessary evil in the life of an artist.

Yes caffine makes your eyes red and your head hurt, but it is indeed a nessisary evil.
Glad you like it. I hope to do a series of elaborate drawings based on this monster. this is only the ressurection you have yet to see the reconstruction, rebirth, wrath, fall, and the desertion of the Abominatrix.
