- Enemy assessment - She's skilled at guessing the enemy's strength and strong suits, and with that, able to at times avoid battles she can't possibly win.
- Heavy blows - Her strong arms and upper body give her the ability to deal critical hits with her sword - or her fists.
- Pro of bar games - Years of hard training have finally paid off. She's become the master of darts.
- Willpower of steel - Or you could just call it 'being a stubborn idiot'. She wants something - she goes to get it. On the battlefield, this means she can edure a lot of pain in order to hold on.

Aimée is a very chill and simple person who takes whatever life hands her and tries to make the best out of it. Having grown up with three older brothers, she also behaves much like they did - which explains her at times unintentionally rude behavior and childish humor. However, she does try, even though it's not obvious, and once she gets to know and like somebody, she often develops a very caring, almost protective behavior towards them. As a friend, she is very loyal and will even defend her friend's honour in a back-alley fistfight if necessary - or, she wishes to, but much to her dismay, nobody ever provokes her. Because of this loyalty, she fulfills every promise she makes, and when given orders, she follows them to a point.
Even though her heart is gold, her head is not, and she definitely is not the brightest star out there. She will most likely not get any academic jokes or references, and usually has to ask twice when her commander tells her which strategy to use. Adding to that, she can't multitask well, and having to make decisions quickly in battle often leads to a terrible outcome for her because she usually makes the wrong choice. When it's about tactics, she's definitely a follower and not a leader. She also is very trusting - a little too trusting, in fact, and she will usually only see the good in a person unless they outright show her she's wrong. Because of that, it's easy to deceive and take advantage of her. While she is very naïve, though, this does not mean she forgives everything - if you push her too far, she will turn on you.
Another big character trait of hers is laziness - while she follows orders as received, when she has a choice she always chooses the easy way. For that reason she can often be found lazing around under a tree or in a pub instead of training. Not only that, but also does she rarely clean or keep things organized, so usually she leaves a big mess wherever she goes, much to everyone else's dismay. Despite those flaws, she has a very strong will and can become very determined if a matter is important enough to her. In those cases, she displays a lot of hard work and dedication, and can even seem mature. Not only that, but the fact that she doesn't overthink things and usually just goes with her gut actually makes her very decisive. For that reason, she often takes action when others are still hesitating.
A great redeeming quality of hers, however, is her extremely friendly attitude towards pretty much anyone - except for Noctil soldiers. She is incredibly easy to befriend, and her positive outlook on life is enough to help her cheer up anyone who's feeling down. Because she is also very honest, she will usually voice concerns or worries, if she has any, but she will also let her friends know all the time how much she loves them. She can be a very clingy person for that reason, if she really takes a liking to someone.
[HISTORY]
- Aimée was born and raised in a rather small village amidst the kingdom of Soleil, where she grew up with her three older brothers and her parents. Seeing as the family was quite large and had many mouths to feed, her father usually worked from early morning until late into the night as a builder, helping out wherever strong muscles were needed – and her mother did her best to not only throw the household, but also to earn a little money from cooking at the local pub from time to time. Yet, despite how poor her family was, Aimée fully enjoyed her childhood, and she grew up surrounded by lots of laughter and positivity. As the only daughter, she quickly was reeled in by her brothers to play rather physical games with them – for example brawling over the last breadroll. They were also the ones who introduced her to sword fighting, even if it was just with a mere wooden play sword.
Because of the on-and-off-war against Noctil, even people from the outskirts were welcomed to join the Soleil army, and it so happened that two of her brothers decided to serve for their kingdom. The younger one was only 16 when he left, and the pain of parting with them weighed heavy on Aimée, who was just a child still. It piqued her interest in the ongoing political problems, and she started looking into the matter herself, researching both kingdoms and their histories with great dedication. In the meantime, life at home became a little quieter, her parents were able to relax a little more, and the lack of money eased its grip on them little by little. Aimée was now able to train with her father, with a real sword that he gave her as recognition of her talent and skill on her 16th birthday. Of course Aimée also went to school every day, but it soon became obvious to everybody that her power lay not in the head, but in the heart (and her biceps).
One day, however, Noctil forces were able to proceed quite far into the Soleil kingdom, and they entered her village. There weren’t many armed people to defend themselves, and it didn’t take long for it to get utterly destroyed – fortunately, nobody was killed, but many were taken prisoners to the Noctil kingdom. Aimée and her family were able to escape and settle down in an even smaller village a few days foot march away, and somehow got back on their feet. However, being attacked and getting their house burnt down was too much to take for the girl, and she, in a rush of fury and sadness, decided to enroll into the army as well and help unite Illiya – and rip out the balls of the commander who had led the division that tore down her village.
Now, it has been quite a few years since Aimée first joined the Soleil army, and she has gotten used to her new life well. She is still not someone to enjoy excessive, unnecessary bloodshed, but she has a certain goal in mind, and she is willing to do whatever is necessary in order to reach it. However, she wishes to someday meet up with her brothers and return home to her family, and live a peaceful, lazy life.
[EXTRAS]
- Has three brothers (27, 28 and 30 years old) and a mum (50) and a dad (55)
- The older two brothers are currently also serving in the Soleil army, but they're stationed in a different place than Aimée, so she only contacts them via letters
- She is a big weenie and misses her family very much, even now. Whenever she is in the area, she always visits them and showers them with presents (usually food)
- She loves bars and pubs and often gets her drink on after training or battling, usually too much. She has been scolded for that by fellow soldiers and commanders a lot, but she doesn't care.
- Has a big knack for making terrible jokes and puns - at the worst times, too.
- Her name is pronounced Em-eh (French), and because of that people often call her 'Em', which she doesn't mind.
- While she is a pretty good sword fighter, her shield work is still quite bad, and she currently is practicing on how to properly guard with it instead of just using it as decoration. She thinks the shield is useless and simply weighing her down, but after being struck painfully on the left a few times, she realized she needs to cover that side.
- She hates Noctil and their soldiers with a passion because she can't understand their motive at all. Everything they are and do completely disagrees with Aimées lifestyle and ideas.
- This also makes her a very proud Soleil soldier, and she is the type of person that really blossoms on the battlefield, as she can express her love for her kingdom and her wish for peace through her sword.
- She has never actually been in love with anyone, but she has developed a few crushes before. When this happens, she usually goes all out and basically throws her feelings at the other person - which in turn makes them very uncomfortable at times.
- She gives excellent backrubs/back-massages, but while they help eventually get rid of pain and loosen up, they're exceptionally painful to endure before that. Please think twice when she offers to massage you.
