Hmm this time I have decided to make a different layout for a tutorial, instead of just a collage of pictures and the discriptions of each stage in the discription box XD. Is it easier to understand? Does the layout seem more appealing? if you could answer those it would be great XD.Since most of the talking is done in the deviation I will just say use this tutorial to draw a perfect katana design onto a piece of wood ready to be made. Its in my Swordmaking Guide Advances skills however it was not as detailed as I wanted to so I made it stand alone and more detailed ^^

sup every1. chioky just want 2 no if you want 2 make the blade longer, say.. 50inches, would you have to increase the length of the handle as well. if so then by how much? thx

you increase the blade by 35 inches and the blade by 15

Oh, this came in need! I was going to buy real one in this week (well, maybe not that real, but it had real blade. It was designed to roleplayers), but then I noticed, that it was kinda heavy and I can't hang out with it in public places. Con's guards or police will not like it, I guess.
And that weight...Hamaka's "belt" (don't know the correct word if it has one) will be not able to hold up it.
So, this is helpful tutorial.

now for my zillion questions ... : what's a pvc pipe?? i'm quite sure i don't own one xD and what's a square dowel? (sorry, i'm not very smart!)

A pvc pipe is plastic piping you can use for draining lol, a square dowel is a long wooden stick of wood with the shape of a cuboid

So Chioky mah boy, you say square dowel works in place of a PVC tube?

Yes it does its much easier to draw the curved line with a pencil unlike a PVC Pipe Tube becuase it is a cylinder. However a wooden dowel will snap XD

unfortunately in my area no one sells big wooden planks.

When I look back to my old swordmaking guides I shudder o.O I might have to remake them XD
well big wooden planks are rather 2cm thick and 15cm wide and be up to 2 meters long XD. Strip Pine wood is one of the cheapest woods to get ^^
