Description
This is from like, wayyy back in April, but I finally got a picture. This was from a Saturday watercolour class and it's what really got me to start using the medium. For this, we were given a small black and white photograph of a flower and told to give it new, bright colours and incorporate a lot of contrast. The colours in this picture are not at all edited.
I'm not as happy with this as I could be, but I gave up trying to fix it. The teacher told me to place those things in the backround, which I would have rather gone without. But I'm actually very proud of this.
It is framed and covered with glass, so there was really no way around the reflection. This is the biggest piece of paper I've ever worked with, sixteen inches wide and twenty-two inches long.
Comments and critique are greatly appreciated. Point out my flaws, make me better. :]
