...there's just something about Lewis' design that I really really like. I found out his body shape is similar to Darkrai when drawing him so maybe? So, I decided I'm gonna try doing those loopy animation thingys with him
I needed the practice anyway or else my After Effect skills are gonna rot haha...not as smooth as I would've liked it to be but I've gotta tell myself to stop or else it'll never be done :'D The dumbest thing about this is the particle effects in the bg. That took more trouble to loop it than was neccessary dangit.Character here is Lewis Pepper from Mystery Skulls Animated, thanks to the team (Mystery Masters, was that the crews' name?) for their amazing work on those music videos. Incredible animation! I like the subtle cross between western and eastern animation styles come together to create a spectacular animation. You did very well with the animation and posture, and the lighting is phenomenal.
I especially like his subtle movements, even down to his eye moving, and the light pulsing in the background. It is truly a great piece, and one that I could see being used as inspiration or as an artistic reference.
My only complaint is the shape in the background. It does distract a little bit from the rest of the art. But, that is a nothing complaint, really.
It really does remind me of something from Undertale, which in my book, isn't a bad thing at all.

Undertale was released on September 15, 2015, and Lewis is from a music video Published on Oct 26, 2014.

p.s it might be reminiscent of scooby doo in the beginning but if you keep a keen eye out you'll notice it's much more than that.

Dang, this is one of the most coolest animations I have ever seen of Lewis. Very smooth animating, I really like how you made his head and heartbeat kept in rhythm to a steady beat like in the music videos, all while allowing his levitating body and flaming hand aura to turn out as a smooth, clean animation that did not turn out as jerky or skipping around on certain parts of the animation. I really like the glowing background and the floating sparkles as well.
