I was good this week and did lots of sketching! Mostly quickies, though I might use some of these ideas later. This will be scrapped in a bit ^_~From left to right, top to bottom:
- the boy with the kite is for this week's Illustration Friday [link] topic: 'wind'. I'll probably do a quick colouring job before submitting it.
- Chisa screaming! Or supposed to be, the mouth looks very off... I need to study some actual photos, my profiles always look weird.
- Chasing butterflies! There's pretty white butterflies fluttering all over the place now its summer, but none will stay still long enough for me to take their picture! So I drew me chasing them.
- Some boys from my kung fu school doing a sparring set, drawn from a photo reference.
- Portrait of my Gaia avatar
- Naked girl posing... attempt at foreshortening. No reference and it shows!
- Chibis playing kung fu instruments (gong, drum and cymbals respectively). Idea for a short Flash animation with music?
- The rose from 'The Little Prince'
- The scene from 'The Little Prince' where the fox tells him a secret

I really like these sketches, you should do more pencil work, it's simply amazing. You have such a wonderful grasp of movement and texture. Those boys fighting is a really good piece, specially the clothing.
I don't think your forshortenings too bad, try having her body and legs further behind her to match the angle of the shoulders. Also maybe focuses on one forshortening at a time, hands, then legs/feet.
I've noticed the white butterflies too! I remember being young and trying to catch them, good fun.

Those chibis are cute but hard to see.
And as a final comment, I love that portrait of your gaian avatar.

I love that book so much, I've been meaning to do some fanart for a long time XD Although nothing can compare to the original illustrations, they suited it so well!

Something like the one with the girl lying down would be cool, if you can coerce someone into posing for it XD Running and fighting type poses are always handy, although I'm assuming they'd be a bit harder to capture on camera because of the movement...

For quickies these sure are amazing O.o
For the girl that's posing her leg that's on the ground seems to be bending sideways too much. It could be easily fixed if you moved it a bit to the left, I think.
Other than that everything looks really good!

Great looking sketches you got there!
I'd say with the forshortening girl picture, the only real problem that sticks out is her right foot. the other serious problem (not related to forshortening) is her shoulders - I'm thinking they make her pose seem stiff and unnatural for her.
Chibis looking sweet! And Kung Fu guys looking revved up and ready to give an interesting fight. Good stuff!
