Hey guys! I'm not dead yet, but awfully close. In case anyone took notice of my absence, you can feel free to blame it on this project, which is fun but is also practically consuming my life. I am doing a semester-long world-building group project extraordinaire super american rocketship hotdog cowboy remake of the Lion King (or, if you want to be all proper-like, Hamlet). Actually, it's more like a space opera remake for a video game, which - in the case of my drawings - has slowly evolved into some weird and vaguely steampunk wtfery. Still not sure if my group appreciates this...ANYWAYS. This is my Simba concept. He's a large man with large hair. He's maybe a little too orange for his own good. He's got gadgets and hangs out in the slums with our favorite chronic druggies, Timon and Pumbaa. All in all he's a pretty standup gentleman, and is not (I repeat, NOT!) voiced by Matthew Broderick. Hell to the no.
