Description This is an illustration I have been working on for an upcoming project.... Hopefully I will share a better image and more details later.......

Here is a little more info...
I was commissioned to draw a cover for a new graphic novel. I didn’t know what info I could share but I spoke to the creator and he supplied this description.

 The Converging Worlds of Whitaker Knox
Detective Whitaker Knox can visit with the dead moments before their death. His latest case involves multiple victims from another world, and one of them is Whitaker Knox.

I was given a few other details that flavored my drawing

There will be a kickstarter campaign launched soon to get the project off the ground.

For my part....
It was a unique experience working with a goal in mind..... (a little terrifying) I was worried about messing it up the entire time I worked on it.... and I am so happy that it seems to be received well ....

Aw man, I love this. There is something about this sort of misplaced/missing jaw on a human head that rubs me the wrong way but also in a way I nod in appreciation, and it's just. So good here.

Thanks very much. I thought of your project while making it, and how much work it takes to put together a book’s worth of images. I only had this cover and it took all my energy.  It has been a while since I have had any sort of goal in mind while drawing. I am really nervous about holding up my end of the transaction so all of the positive comments here have been really encouraging

Though nervousness is of course understandable, your work is top notch and you make it so quickly that you are more than capable of doing an amazing job of anything you choose to do on a professional level.
All the same, I'm sure it was a big relief to hand that thing in!

So much light in those eyes  

I'm impressed by this one ! Great great colors and depth created with them(especially on the torso, those greens,blues and ochre are delightful ) The layering is so awesome

Can't wait to see this finished Judging by your work i know the areas where you will go back in for more details and such, but even so it looks as if it's finished, so so beautiful !!

Thanks so much.... this was crazy for me it made/makes me so nervous I am so happy to receive positive feedback..... the person who commissioned me will receive the drawing tomorrow.... so until he gets it I am worried It is important to me that he likes it.

 is just amazing ....
I have been a little distracted with car problems so while I have been around my mind is a little muddled... it should be sorted out soon though.... I hate buying a new car.... I don’t even drive ..... I don’t know about engines! Or how to haggle and get a good price..... LOL ... I think the salesmen see us coming and think fresh meat.....

I will be mentally back to comment on it soon....

Ohh you should never worry about commenting on my stuff I've seen you've been busy lately and it's normal and i am very happy to hear you've been commissioned for this cover! You did such an amazing job, I totally love it and i'm sure the commissioner likes it too ! Love the elements, the brain-tree thing is great and all the spheres make me think of time , it feels like the main character is morphing through time and space


(I hope you find a good car for your needs and you won't have to look too long for it )

DUDE!!! You absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! It's horrifying, but it's beautiful in its deliverance. That was definitely meant as a compliment btw.


Love the pinkish colour theme going on there, and I love the fact that the way its been coloured gives the illusion that some of the lines may be organs. Also, great job on the person in the image being torn apart in such an odd way!
