I drew this for one of my pals since he just loves Chi/Freya and Nyu/Lucy.I COLOR PICTURES LIKE A CHILD! See why I don't color as much!? MEEPERS!

I was a big fan of Chi all through the series, and then I watched Nyu, and I immediately correlated the two. ^^ <3

I like Elfen Lied more than Chobits, but I thought since CHi and Nyu had so much in common, I would make them pals.

That's SO cute! ^_^ I love their differing expressions, and the hands are very well drawn ^^
Tip: try colouring in a circular rather than 'straight' motion. It makes blending much easier and smoother and you don't get any streaks ^^ though it takes a little practice. Another tip is to shade with the lighter colours first, blending the darker colours on top...but make sure that your lighter colours are well laid, otherwise you'll get the white of the paper showing through. This is the way I colour and you can see it on some of my deviations (like the .hack one). It's also good to test different shades and combinations on a spare piece of paper while you're colouring ^^ I hope you find it helpful
