It's a very solemn, haunting image. Not because her face is scary, but the skin tone and the colors used in everything else. The different shades of yellow and orange builds it up that way, and then the 'dead' colors of black and white in her eyes are kinda intense to look into. Grood job!

Wow. I look back at this picture and it makes me cringe. I thought it was pretty good at the time. o_O; But now I look at the most recent edition of this pic, and realize I've improved a LOT. I guess that kind of makes me feel good, but at the same time I wonder if someday I'll feel the same way about the most recent pic that I do about this one. If that made any sense. This picture has really mutated over time... and perhaps so has my opinion of the person I drew it of.
