A sketch I did in art class of none other than Derek Zoolander! The first of a series of portraits i am to complete for my finished peice . . . if anybody has any suggestions for a model, please give me a holler 'ight
Im pretty happy with this one, done soley with a 2B pencil.

wow! awesome work! I really love the expression on his face...looks totally shocked or as if he's just eaten something really hot and spicy. I love the subtle but effective shading...and the eyes are fantastic...can't stop looking at them. I like how you have done the hair...very realistic and the clothes are beautiful...again, I like the simple shading and how you only draw in the essentials...works very well.

This was an in class project so hence it was drawn on lower quality paper than I would normally use for portrature, and in a lot of ways this limited shading and smudging, but gave it a cleaner look in other ways. The character is Zoolander, if you didnt know, and this is his signature pose
