The girl of the tower.I began this almost immediately after seeing the amazingness which is Tangled back in November. It started as a gouache painting but I didn't get very far because of projects. When I finally returned to it, I noticed so many things I felt were wrong, so i re-drew it, scanned it, began it, put it off for a month or two due to portfolio, and here it is! The pose for Rapunzel was inspired by two Mucha works combined.

Oh my goodness! i always love the way you draw hair, so this is quite interesting! The somewhat muted colors of peach,violet and browns are so complimentary! The interpretation of her attire is also very appropriate and brings a more mature feel to the piece. I also love how you incorporated the 'lights'. Very beautiful..to say the least!

This is absolutely gorgeous!! Mucha's stuff is incredible and I love pieces done it that style. I've seen some of your other Mucha/Disney pieces and was wondering if you'd seen Enrique Pita and Ed Irizarry's princess portraits, your stuff reminds of them a lot!
