I know the feeling when a muse takes over, a simple inspiration becomes passion and that passion becomes an uncontrollable desire . You want to be free but to be free means destroying what you created. It is enough to make one weep , To go down a self destructive path with your passion a false happiness or destroy it go through withdrawal and find something less controlling that is the choice . A very nice piece of art I found it therapeutic when I first saw it, it made me start to thing. It has been a long time sence I looked at The Muse but I'm glad I did.

This is a beautifully disturbing work. The idea of being violently controlled by one's own creative power is frighteningly similar to many forms of obsessive-compulsive disorders. Beautiful work.
