Your work inspires me so much, I do photomanipulation and a bit of digital painting (not so good on that).
Viewing your work wants me to stop doing photomanips and take up more digital painting, haha one can dream. I hope to be at your level someday

just practice and you´ll be fine. Maybe check out some matte painting tutorials, they usually have a mix of using photos and painting, you might discover something you like

Well, i´d say the quality of rendering is all fine, i don´t think i did a really horrific job. It was just a bit on short notice for me, which happens a lot with commissions, so i ended up not searching and exploring on how to do things differently, different compositions, etc. And i also rarely do fan art, maybe that´s where you feel a disconnect between this and my original work.

Once again your detail work is fantastic. I love the way he is holding a skull and you can see the bones forming underneath of it, the one eye just beginning to glow but not quite yet there. What an interesting way to summon the undead, and very unique as far as I know.

Yeah glad you liked that detail, i think i recall something like it from somewhere but not really sure where.
It kinda makes sense for skeletons at least to assemble themselves in a way, they are just bones after all, it doesn't even need to be a fresh corpse. Zombies would be different i guess.
