Aight so this is another one that i did today.This one was more fun because i got to use a little more acquired "COMMON SENSE".
I guess with this one im trying to learn more about the different things that Photoshop offers to add a different touch to what the artist has already established.
It was fun, and i got a ton more to learn, so i will keep going into the WEE hours of the night.
Thank you guys for commenting on these, i am definitely learning from the commentaries.

looks fuckin shweet. the only thing I can find to critique is the lighting, the way the shadows are being cast dont seem to correspond to the light source besides that its beautifully done

Nice one mate! u understand the forms but they dont have volume. The colors need some more contrast, look at the galleries of the mega cool colorists here on DA to see wich colors do they choose and how do they make that volume effect.

I know man, i keep running into that little problem. I want to try to make it fit more with the piece, what would you suggest other than completely discarding it. I think it could be done, FORREAL!

you could use the pic as a base, but do those bambooes by yourself, with some simple colors, a la cartoony way... should work!
