Your pattern work is phenomenal. It's so much fun to look at all the work you put into both the characters and the abstract surrounding elements.
My only issue is that, because everything is so detail heavy, it's easy to loose the characters. It would have made a world of difference if you'd gone over the characters with a sharpie. Even if you only added a few dark darks, it'd make it much easier to read.
Regardless, this is a beautiful piece.
