Howdy!

Awhile ago I worked with Jose-Melo to commission another operator, this time with a Maori theme to it. figured something closer to home might be interesting to try.
Easily one of the biggest challenges was the 'tattoo' on her face and suit. Well, technically its more a type of etching on the suit itself. One of the big things I wanted to avoid was making it look like one of those shitty 90's 'tribal' tattoos. That would've been cringeworthy... The design on her chin is a classic woman's moko tattoo. As for the cloak, we drew some designs from the feather capes used in the old days, while the round knife is like a combination of Mere club and survival knife.
