May I ask about how you go about those little white sprinkles without getting any on the silver surfer's board? I'm curious of traditional methods and processes.

I sometimes use simple masking..just blocking portions of the art with a sheet of paper heh. That doesn't always block everything though, so I'll go back in and black out stray white dots. I have to do it with brush though, cause the white paint kills my pens instantly. I need to find a different white paint I think.

Very old technique. White paint (water color in this case) and a toothbrush. Dip it and flick it

It's very much alive. Some of the best inkers in comics history are working today. I'm not one of them btw LOL. I'm with you though, it'll be a sad day if computers replace real inkers. Not that I think that'll ever happen.

The quality shows that will come new commission later of these, sure. They're good illsutrations, and this publishers really need people that work hard. You'll have new commissions later.
