Description
Maybe my favorite Marvel cover so far. It's simple, it's Thor and it's a big ass gorilla foot. Good stuff. I was originally asked to do a Godzilla foot. That would've been even cooler, but they chickened out. They were worried about a lawsuit or something. Drat.Microns on smooth bristol board

Thanks. Same ol'. Microns pens and the Micron brush. The Micron brush is a complete piece of shit, but I use it to get that dry brush effect when they start to wear out..which usually takes about ten minutes.

LOL.....................never seen these two coupled together. Top marks for originality and of course execution. Love the detailing on Kongs foot.

How can you copyright a foot? Yes Godzilla would have been a lot cooler but this works goot too.

why does Thor have stone in his right hand, he is crushing by Kong's hand, not a stone, just my opinion

The rock's not actually in his hand. It's just a tangent. It's meant to just be debris from Kong's foot.

By Odin's beard, King Kong feet 'pon the back of the Prince of the Golden Realm! The indignity! Very nice work--any chance you have a scan of it before the big "fix" of the foot?

Heh. yeah, Kong's got some smiting coming his way. I might. It'll just be a loose pencil drawing though. Legal at Marvel took one look and said.."maybe we should just do a gorilla foot"

Even big Marvel fears Godzilla! It'd be cool to see either way.

Amazing as always! It kills me that Marvel hasn't yet commissioned one of your breathtaking and instantly recognizable marker renderings for a cover, though. Or have they, and I just missed it? I can identify one of your Prisma pieces even as a one-inch square thumbnail, so I figure they'd be all over that sort of thing!
