Time for more art!
This one took a bit longer than my last few. I remembered to check this one with a few different color profiles before submitting it this time, so hopefully I won't have to make my usual flurry of edits.
I tried to use a softer texture this time around. The glowing scales and colors were especially fun to use.

hey Chrom! Not been on in like... a year. So I've missed a lot and was just scanning through some of yours that where in my box.
You've really improved! You have always been awesome with lighting and such, but now there is a realistic feel to some of the pieces I saw and WOW. I'm impressed. Just wanted to share that opinion with ya
not really studied any piece to offer critiques due to Falkon's nap time coming to an end, but from what I saw you are on a great track so keep it up!

And, thank you. I'm rather proud of the progress I've made with my art in the last year. There is always plenty to learn, though. Hopefully, I'll be able to show similar amounts of progress, this next year.

I really love both the color and diagonal compositions on this one
the clouds turned out really nice and soft, and with the few visible stars make a great neutral background.
and the details on the dragon are really nice too! even though at first I though those were organic molecule drawings/symbols on its skin. not that that wouldn't be an awesome idea for itself...
and the overall pastel pallet works great. it makes the whole scene look soft, like some sort of dream.

That's one of the reasons why I try to upload them at the size that I do. Most of my desktops come from DA, and I think it's disappointing when artists don't put up large enough versions.

This is awesome! I love how the cool colours are offset by the warm glow - he looks very fascinated with his slice of star. ^^
I agree that his hind quarters are larger, but I like them anyways - gives him a more 'character-y' feel. Great work, as always!
