Time for more art!
This one took a bit longer than my last few. I remembered to check this one with a few different color profiles before submitting it this time, so hopefully I won't have to make my usual flurry of edits.
I tried to use a softer texture this time around. The glowing scales and colors were especially fun to use.

beautiful dragon, it has the air of grace one would expect from a sky dragon but it being a thicker build makes it easy to imagine this dragon fitting in with ground dragons as well.

Well now I feel like monsieur le pricke for what I am about to do.
Ze right upper arm looks too thin for the forearm it goes with, but at the very least it seems too far forward if it isnt. And then I was like FFFFFUUUUUUU- because I was eyegasming before I saw it.
But while I wallow in my angst of writing, hey isnt that the critique he always wants?
I shall try banishing the regretmatron later.

I'm sorry my reply is a bit slow.
Originally, that upper arm was clearly too thick, so I went back and re-drew parts of that to make it a bit thinner. I must have overcompensated, by the sound of that. I'll get those proportions down one of these days. Anatomy is one of the areas that I'm trying to improve on.
I always enjoy it when people point out these sorts of things, because it shows me areas to practice, and more ways to improve my art. Thanks again.

Upside down flying... AWESOME. You don't normally see that. Its really cool though. Graceful in a way too. I'm trying to figure out what that light in its hands are.
One thing I find off is it looks as though someone has written all over this creature. I know they are suppose to be scales but they look more like writing to me.

The light is a star, or piece of a star.
Fantasy stars don't need to work the same way as real stars after all.

There are a loot of people drawing scales, but this is the first time I've seen scales on the face, but the rest of the body left with just a few.
Usually it is the other way around.
This lets the face get the most details and you spend time studying it. And the effect of the light just increases this event.
I also notice that you let the dragons body can be seen as a shadow on the wings, which proves them to be slightly transparent.
So I'll say you've done an excellent job *-*

I tried to use the scales to draw attention to important areas of the picture, like the face and the joints. I've been experimenting with a few different methods for drawing scales, and I'm enjoying this one quite a bit.

I usually shade and work in grayscale and add in colors later. I think that allows me to focus on the lighting and colors individually when I'm working with them. It also lets me try different color schemes, until I find one I like.

It's great to hear that I've improved.
It looks like you have all sorts of new and awesome art, too. I always admire how effective your lines are, even in the rough sketches. I always have to spend forever moving things around and re-drawing parts of my pictures until I can get them to look right.
I've been rather busy for the past few months, so I haven't been as active, but it looks like I'll have a bit more time again now. Are you still doing livestreams from time to time?
